Job Responsibilities

  • Install, Maintain, and Repair Electrical Systems – Perform residential electrical work, including electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, outlets, and panel upgrades
  • General Electrical Maintenance – Conduct regular maintenance tasks and troubleshooting to ensure electrical systems remain functional and efficient
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics – Inspect, diagnose, and replace electrical equipment, wiring, or fixtures to ensure systems are working correctly
  • Circuit Breakers and Transformers – Inspect and perform corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and transformers to keep systems safe and operational
  • Customer Interaction – Engage with customers to explain issues, solutions, and outcomes while recommending products and services for optimal system performance
  • Technical Expertise – Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and wiring schematics to guide service completion
  • Code Compliance – Follow the national electrical code, as well as state and local building regulations, to ensure all work is up to code
  • Service Documentation – Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan, maintaining accurate records of all service calls and tasks
  • Safety Compliance – Ensure work follows all safety protocols and adheres to industry standards and local regulations

Qualifications

  • Experience – 1 year of experience as an electrical service technician or a similar role
  • Certifications – Electrical certification or equivalent experience from a technical/trade school is preferred
  • Technical Knowledge – Proficient in residential electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, transformers, and troubleshooting
  • Service Software – Experience using Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus
  • Communication Skills – Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain issues and solutions to customers
  • Customer Service Focus – A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Attention to Detail – Ability to perform accurate work and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
  • Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
